Lily Pad Cards are having another challenge: make a card using either a frame or a die cut matte/frame while employing pop-dots or other material for a framed 3-D result.
I just finished this card about 15 minutes ago. It's been an ugly day outside, cloudy and drizzly, so I decided to cheer myself (as well as the person I will give the card to one day) up and made this "sunny" card. I love it - doesn't it just send out so much light and optimism... :)
I decided to make the card in the shape of the beautiful flowery die cut from BoBunny, I just cut the cardstock a little bigger to showcase the layers even more, and inked the edges of the cardstock with orange and brown ink for more contrast. And for the "sunny" word I used alpha stickers and covered them with Glossy Accents for even more 3-D effect. Here is a close up view:
I hope you like the card - if you do, please leave me a comment, it will make my day even sunnier :)
I wish you all a SUNNY day :) And thank you for stopping by.

Really lovely, Jana - you achieved your purpose in spades! Love your design, and especially how the glossy accents made those letters jump off the card! Well done!
